2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account Data: username, email, password (encrypted), country, birthdate, avatar, and related profile information.
• Gameplay Tracking Data: names of detected games or processes, session durations, timestamps, and related activity data used to calculate tickets and XP.
• Device Data: device identifiers, operating system type, hardware specifications or fingerprint, IP address, and diagnostic information.
• KYC and Prize Data: full name, address, phone number, identification photo or document, and other information required to verify eligibility and deliver prizes.
• Analytics and Crash Logs: technical performance data and app-crash reports collected via third-party tools such as Firebase or Sentry.
• Marketing and Communication Data: information used to send newsletters, push notifications, promotional messages, cookies or tracking pixels on our website, and your marketing preferences.

We do not knowingly collect or store data from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

3. How We Use Your Data

We process your personal data for the following purposes and lawful bases under the GDPR:

• To operate the Service and track gameplay time (performance of a contract).
• To provide rewards, process KYC checks, and deliver prizes (performance of a contract and legal obligation).
• To detect cheating, prevent fraud, and maintain fair play (legitimate interest).
• To maintain leaderboards, social, and community features (performance of a contract).
• To process payments and manage subscriptions such as Preezy Pro (performance of a contract).
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including tax and sanctions compliance (legal obligation).
• To analyze app performance, crashes, and improve functionality (legitimate interest).
• To send updates, promotional offers, and event notifications, where you have opted-in or where permitted by law (consent).

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with trusted partners as follows:

• App Store / Google Play for in-app billing and subscription processing.
• Payment processors or banks to facilitate prize or reward transfers.
• Cloud service providers such as Firebase and AWS for secure hosting, authentication, and data storage.
• Analytics providers such as Google Analytics and Mixpanel to measure usage trends and app performance.
• Event sponsors or shipping providers when required to verify eligibility or deliver physical prizes.
• Law enforcement or regulators if necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect our rights.

All third-party providers are contractually bound to handle your data in accordance with this Policy and applicable data-protection laws.

5. International Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where Preezy's servers and primary operations are located. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate safeguards to ensure adequate protection of your information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law.

Typical retention periods are:

• Account and gameplay data: deleted or anonymized after 12 months of inactivity.
• KYC and prize verification data: retained for up to 2 years to satisfy legal and tax obligations.
• Analytics and crash logs: anonymized or deleted after 6 months.
• Marketing information: retained until you withdraw consent or opt out.

After these periods, we either delete your data securely or anonymize it for statistical use.

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your personal data, including TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and audit logging. While no system is completely secure, we continually update our security practices to reduce risk of unauthorized access or disclosure.

Preezy is designed for users aged 18 or older, or those aged 13–17 with verified parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with data, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, or our operations. When we make significant updates, we will post a notice within the app or on our website indicating the revised Effective Date. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Policy.
